Consultation

This is an hour long session that will allow Mason to be introduced to the dog in your home environment. He will talk with you about the issues that are occurring, why they are occurring, and most importantly, how training will provide significant help in eliminating these negative behaviors while providing ways to reinforce good ones!

(If you decide to purchase a package of lessons, this cost will be deducted from the costs of the program)

Lessons

Private lessons can be purchased in groups of 5, 10, or 15 sessions or individually

Mason will come to your home and work with you one-on-one for one hour with any issues that you are having.

Typically one or two behaviors or concepts will be elaborated on during one lesson which can range from:

• Forming a Communication System
• Forms of Management
• “Sit”/”Stay”
• “Down”/”Stay”
• “Place”/”Stay”
• “Leave It”
• “Come”
• Loose Leash Walking
• Waiting at Thresholds

Besides learning obedience and concepts, you and Mason may also cover subjects that are pertinent to your dog’s personality such as, but not limited to:

• Resource Guarding
• Reactivity
• Aggression
• Separation Anxiety
• General Anxiety
• Fearfulness
• Jumping
• Biting/Nipping

Canine Good Citizen Certification (CGC)

You and your dog have the option to just take the test (which can be retaken if not successfully passed) or you can take the 2 session-course which prepares you and your dog and includes the test at the end.

The Canine Good Citizen certification is a certificate through the international program by the American Kennel Club (AKC).

This certificate is given at the end of a 10-step test which assesses appropriate manners and obedience between; your dog and you, your dog and strangers, and your dog and the world.
